My first jeep xj build
 

ok, here goes... i just recently purchase this jeep. Its a 1998 Cherokee sport 4 wheel drive, 4 door, 4.0 inline 6. has the up country suspension package from factory. Has 119k miles on it now. Ive done most of the work now so im just gonna be leaving pictures as i go and so on.

day i got it few mths ago...

did lots of regular maintenance on it when i got it. The retired guy i bought it from just towed it behind his motor home and just changed oil...lol I decided to change the leaking valve cover gasket, plugs, wires, cap, rotor.

repairing the exhaust manifold for now. had a small crack i had to get welded up.

while its off im doing the 703 injector upgrade and cleaning the manifold in and out as well as the throttle body and installing a new mopar gasket and mopar exhaust bolts and studs.

i replaced new the front ball joints, tie rods and drag link bar new as well. gave her a test run up my street and its good. just minor things ( exhaust tail pipe rubbing the leaf). The ride is pretty nice as well. more to come soon. thanks yall.

I don't think any these Jeep vendors have any good tires deals, they about 20% more including rebates. VENDORS, WE KNOW YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE :thumbdown:

Pocket Napier flares with the OEM style corner shape they cost half of BW pocket or flat are $500

:offtopic:BFG KO look good with white OUT on black TJ with Pro Comp Alloy w/ black rock rings

But on my Gunmetal blue XJ not sure about the white out on gloss soft 8 8x15 3.75BS . The big 17" nice rims on TJ and XJ just look like Hummer & JK wantabee look and cost more than most stock XJ's for sale.
