Looking good man. Offroad time is always a good time. Jeeps look better muddy.

Well only thing new recently is the SYE install. Did that about a month ago. Has some vibration still but i think it may just need shims because the angle from the rear axle doesn't look right. Haven't been able to drive it much lately bc the tags expired in november and haven't had time/money to get it inspected and licensed.

With Christmas and tax return coming I hope to start back on the jeep! I think that a rear locker maybe the next purchase. Well after i get the heater core replaced!

Haven't updated this for awhile. I got a tcase skid a couple months ago and ended up finding a good deal on some 33 12.5 Wrangler MTR's with Kevlar. I put those on and trimmed the fenders a few weeks ago. Started with a small trim up front but ended up needing more! I am planning on getting some spacers for the front and move my shackles up to the longest hole once i get some longer brake lines. I will be going with a buddy tomorrow wheeling to test out the new tires! I heard nothing but great things about them!
I also took off the door trim a couple weeks ago. I am having a lot of issues getting all of the tape off though. I have used goo gone as well as other things and its not wanting to come off!

I took it in and got a lifetime alignment at firestone today. It was off and i plan on upgrading control arms and other stuff this summer so i figured why not?

I also noticed a big gearing difference on the highway with these tires. Gears are in the future for sure! I use to run about 2300ish at 70mph. Now i run just a hair under 2000.

What are the best gears to get for 33's?

Big size difference!

After first trim. They were trimmed another half inch or little more today!

Sweet! Good to see ya still kickin! 4.56 gears are usually the best for 33s. 4.10 some will say but that is better for just daily driving and you will be wishing for more grunt on the trail.

Got to do some wheeling today. Had a great time and I am really impressed with how well it did with the bigger tires. I climbed hills easily that i never could have with the 31's. Got into the fender a little once but not too bad. Either need bump stops or more lift! I am thinking more lift sounds better!

More lift! Only if you want to though. A low center of gravity is more useful. Just be prepared for all of the "higher" costs. See...i made a double meaning there

Bumpstops are better anywhere. Bumpstops protect your pinchweld in the rear wheel well and from over compressing your shocks.

Bumpstop or more trim. Low cog is best.

Well the plan is to probably bump stop first and then hopefully this summer i will start working on more lift!

Here is a link to one of the videos. I couldn't even make it up the first ledge with my 31's. The 33's made it feel like nothing! Should have more once the rest are uploaded!

Well i replaced the motor mounts last week. After my last wheeling trip it had a lot of vibration in the steering wheel. Took them off and they both fell apart! I replaced them with the oem cheap ones for now and i plan on going to brown dog in the future. Still has some vibes in the wheel but i think its from the driveshaft angle. I have shims i just haven't had a chance to install them yet. Besides that not much has happened.

Found a Solid front diff cover on sale and it came in the mail today. I plan on working on that this weekend. The front diff needed the fluid changed anyways so I figured why not?

We are trying to plan for another trip to the offroad park in the next month or so.

I did have a strange thing happen the other day with the jeep. In the middle of the night the electric fan decided it wanted to cool off the engine that hadn't ran for a day or so! Not sure exactly what was going on with that but i plan on replacing the relay in the future.

Not much going on here. I have not been able to take it out all summer due to a busy schedule. Plus a couple weeks ago our AC decided to go out in our house, so thats $5000 down for that! The local park is having a big event on September 25th so I am looking foward to that. I hope with the cooler weather my schedule will free up some for more wheeling.

I have got a few new upgrades that are in the works. I found a set of RC lower control arms new for $60. I got them put on this weekend and can tell a little difference after driving around some. It also fixed my wobble at 45mph and the clunking noise when backing up and hitting the brakes.

The wife also bought me a set of Rubicon express extended brake lines that i hope to install soon. My plan is to replace the calipers whenever i do that also. Besides that i plan on buying some spring spacers and moving my rear shackles up to the next notch to make it around 4 1/2 inches of lift!

Here are a few pictures and hopefully will have more on the next wheeling trip!

Seeing the white letters on the outside kind of makes me wish i mounted the tires the opposite direction, white letters out. But how are you liking those RC LCAs? I just installed mine along with the RC lift. Painted 'em white since i haven't seen many LCAs painted at all (for good reason? We'll find out) Nice build so far man.

I wasn't sure about the white lettering at first but it grew on me! I can't say much about the LCA's yet. I have only taken it around town once but in a couple weeks I will have it out on the trails. From what I could tell they helped the ride a little. I have some stock upper's I am thinking about installing because the bushings on my lowers were pretty wore out.

The jeep is far from down but it is slowly coming around!
Thanks!

Not much has happened with the Jeep lately. I have some braided brake lines I need to install once I get new calipers. I also plan on adding some spring spacers, moving the shackle and install bump stops soon. I was able to go to the off road park a couple weeks ago for the first time in several months.
