whel im having a hard time rasing funds for shocks so i can isnstall my lift kit! sadly i haent done much... i got new rear leaf springs to replace the bent ones. and i decided not to use the lift blocks! i have only heard bad things about them so i am going to buy a 3 in add a leaf! and sell the blocks and u bolts on craigs list mabye ill make some money off em. the next things i am gona buy are a new summit muffler and a add a leaf and shocks so i need to raise some funds before i can make anymore headway.
but on the bright side it passed smog with flying collors! yippie! now i can drive it

do a bastard pack, its the same work as an add a leaf, but half the price. I built my bastard pack for like 85$, thats including spring clamps, centerbolts, and new ubolts with hardware.

So I see the jeep, but where is the first car?
You didnt call the jeep a car did you? thats worse than when people call it a truck.

Jeeps are addicting, and you've started so young. I forsee some sick rides in the future for you.

I wouldn't use those lift blocks at all. at least put together a bastard add-a-leaf pack for the lift you want in the rear. those lift blocks will give you trouble with axle wrap and wheel hopp on hard acelleration and less traction off-road because of it. just my $.02 that is cool that you are building your jeep before you can drive it though.

hmmmmm ive never have had a problem with have the 3inch blocks on my rear end now and on my yota i had when we put them on the front there was tons of wheel hop and would cause the front end to flex back and forth now the rear end i had 2 3 inch blocks welded together and never gave me an issue either

ok whell alot has changed since i last updated. my jeep has had the 3 inch lift installed. many problems have been encountered and solved since. i have installed a new fuel pump "new" injectors and got the engine running good. next upgrade for the engine is a new catback exhaust system. i have had some problems with my aw4 trasmission and have gotten that mostly straightened out with a "new" tcm and neutral safety switch. ( not "new" but out of a wreck ). and after much pain and suffering and heating bolts and cutting with the torch and countless cans of breakfree and a braker barand loads of elbow grease!
, i have installed my 3 inch coils and a 2 inch aal (was suposed to be 2 1/2-3 inches) in the back. it sitts level with skyjacker shocks and 31" A/T BFG's
i got the "new" tires at the pick n pull for 200 bucks (mint). and a set of "new" Jeep 5 spoke wheels for 50 bucks. and after lots of scrubing, it looks awesome! next thing to do is a "new" steering box and stablizer (its really sloppy), and an allignment.
whel here are some pics. these are without the new tires and wheels but ill get those up tomorow hopefully.

it sits alot more lever with the new tires.
