My first ever Jeep build, Blue Plaid with a hint of Herculiner
I ended up getting this 1991 Jeep Cherokee for $600 bucks off of craigslist. I have put new wheels on it, replaced the drive shaft u joints, replaced the 4x4 vacuum motor, replaced the rear hatch and window, repaired the rear quarter panel with a new one, fixed all the door looks and windows, replaced the rubber around the windows, herculined the entire outside of the truck body, put some 33x12.5x15 falken rocky mountains on crager soft 8s, tinted the lights, blacked the grill out and other little things. I have tons of more to come and over the next year hope to complete this build so stay posted cause it could get interesting.
First day of the jeep, busted the window out, opps........
Got the new hatch on with the new wheels
Cut the front fenders
Replaced the rear quarter and cut the rear fenders.
Some night shots, not soo good.....
And as it sits right now after a long last week of sanding, bending metal and herculiner.......
Well there it is guys.....more to come.

Yea I am actually doing the interior plastics in the same stuff and the tub of the truck as well, any holes in the body will be welded up and sealed so no water gets in.

I will start the interior soon but need a lot and will be putting in a double din touch screen on the dash where the existing radio and a/c controls are. I am also replacing the dome lights under the dash with leds and also going to convert the over head ones into leds that look like mood lights as well. It should look good when I am done but we will see

yea it is pretty easy, but most things that are hard with auto stuff come second nature to me. I am pretty sure you can paint it, just wash it really good and wipe it down with a degresser and maybe spray a bonding agent first and then go to town.......I was thinking of painting it but I like the all blacked out look....I am actually going to put another 2 coats on it and then do the same for the intierior

So Alister and I hit up Joanas Fabrics and saw this blue plaid matieral that I had to have for the interior of my jeep. So this is what we started out with. Plan on doing way more stuff and doing all Blue leds threw out the jeep.
Far from done but getting closer
