Hey everyone.
My names Westin. I Figured I'd start a build thread. I've been looking at them and thought "why not". I bought my 92 XJ in May. I immediately did a rattle can paint job (it's one of my toys so I didn't really care that much about paint). The list goes on to what's been done so far:
- New Radiator
- New water pump
- New thermostat and thermostat housing
- New ball joints
- New battery
- Oil change
- New steering stabilizer
- 2" Budget lift
- Like new 31" Wrangler tires
- New front bumper (I think custom built, picked it up local for $200)

Future plans:
- Hi Lift Jack
- Roof rack
- New wheels
- CB radio
- Led Headlights
- Led Lights for A pillar
- New leaf springs for rear
- Steering box
- Tie rod ends
- Winch

And I'm sure more stuff will come up as I keep going with the build. Anyway, I'll post some pictures next!

When I first bought it

First mountain trail in Red River, New Mexico

Ready to cross the Red River on the way back down from the trail.

Not completely painted yet. I got distracted with other things before I finished painting the top

No real "build progress" but I've been working on figuring out why my blower motor isn't working. I got under the dash on the passenger side trying to see if anything is loose. I came across these three wires that are taped at the end... Anybody know what they're for?

Also, snapped this pic of my two projects in the garage since the wife isn't home.

Looks good. I just did a 3" myself. Still sitting on stock tires. I've noticed that every time I try to upgrade something I break something else with a rusty bolt or what not.

Thanks! I've been pretty lucky not breaking many bolts. Most the ones on my fender flares, but that's all. So far...
