So like I said before, I wanna clock the np231 flat for more clearance, I'm sure I'll run into issues with the floor being in the way but I will take care of that.

This looks like what I need. http://www.cutthroat4x4.com/catalog/...roducts_id=125

Yep just buy a clocking ring, don't get a jig and re drill. You'll need to massage some of the floor up for it. I was going this route till I made this:

Awesome. So you would need the driver side clock up right?

Yeah. Doesn't take much massaging to fit

Yeah from my Clayton long arm crossmember. It's a 3 piece mount with a dropping center section I built that on. Sits basically flush with the bottom of the unibody rail. 1/4 plate took a beating this weekend

I've been digging around google for XJ under belly skids, I'm really not finding what I'd think is ideal, Pretty much like the protection a TJ has, I found this but I can't pull up pics on my Tart Phone.

I aways liked how Clayton designed cross members so you don't need to mess with L/A's to drop the tranny. I was cursing RC first time I had to do a clutch.

Works good so far. If I was going to install it again... I would put a set of 4 washers on one side of the crossmember between the center section and the flanges. That way there is a small bit of maneuverability to the thing. It's heavy now... I also have the edges beveled to slide up together better. I like.

Kinda eyeing this on TNT customs.

After all I'm staying with short arms so no big deal.
