ok here it is finally ok i have a rough country 6.5 lift. sitting on 28" or 29" can't remember. but this is the after pictures of my xj. ok i have taken a picture of all four sides and the sye kit. which they don't tell you but you better have an angle grinder to cut the 4x4 vacume shaft. and yes it took all day to basicly bench build the whole transfer case. but any was that is another story. ok it doesn't look like it but me and xjcrazy did the lift in about 3.5 days. when we were finished we final measurements and found that i got a full 8" in the rear, and 7.5" in the front. i'm very pleased with it will upload more photo's later.

oh ya took it mudding with my kids and found a 5' imbankment and climb it with no problems and no high centering.

Nice rig. Its nice to hear you involve your kids. I too, take my kids, and they love it. Hopefully it will be a family hobby for years to come.

here is another picture some of lift and the other of before i couldn't get to load. thanks crazy hope you learned some things.

some future mods. would be
a new roof rack homemade of course. with 4, 5" rectangle kc lights, the one that is on there was a quick one to haul lumber and pipe and ladders
rock sliders with disco steps. the my little one has a hard time climbing in now.
aluminium diamond plated front to back rocker panels.
modified stock fender flares.

i have a set of 15 8 crager black bead lock d's. for 100.00 sitting at tire shop waiting for a set of decent 30,31,33/12.50 for 4 wheeling only will keep the wrangler's for dd. and gas milage.

just picked up another valve cover gasket to replace the one i just did. think it did a flip on install in rear of valve cover. took my wife for a ride just a bit ago to starbucks the long way around and at starbucks it blew oil all over the back of the engine and down the flywheel plate. typical rear seal look alike
so my wife decided to name it "THE MONEY PIT"

so when i get the new windshield i'm going to have a friend who does vinly graphics make me a windshield banner.

hopefully new front and rear bumpers. going to try mod my own. hey crazy want to learn how to weld. lol.
want something similar to the arb bull.
so thats about it for now. hope you have good comments and like what you see. if you don't then tough it's mine not yours.lol

Not to be a jerk or anything, but I'm pretty sure you have your lower control arms on backwards. The bushed end goes on the body side, while the flex end goes on the axle. Buddy of mine did the same thing with his RC arms.

Other than that, its a nice start. What kind of rubber are you looking to run?
