Nice looking jeep. Mine started out as a 2wd too and did the conversion while lifting it at the same time. Converting it over is so easy and can be done in steps if you desire to have 4x4 while still having a dd.

The 4 steps I did it in was:
1) rear axle 3.07 d35 to 3.55 8.25 (you probably dont have to do this step)
2) transmission and tcase
3) front axle (this is also when i did a lift)
4) fabbed up brackets for the t-case linkage because i couldn't find any for an AX15, wont have this trouble

Thanks guys. Yeah I've been thinking about tinting and doing the 4x4 conversion but I'm running out of money and time lol so I'm just going with the flow.

Today freaking blows! Sao all my ball joints crapped out on me and I'm pretty sure my rear main seal decided to go out on me because I'm leaking oil from the bell housing. F#**!!!!!!

That blows! Sounds like it's time to spend money and get dirty.

How difficult was it to take the doors off? Is their a harness connector somewhere near the hing/jamb? I've been wanting to do the same since it's been so damn hot here.

just started a new job so money really tight right now! oh well ill figure it out.

As far as the door removal its super easy all you do is cut off the bottom hinges and then work the door off. and yes theres connectors in the kick panels
