I am doing an adams drive shaft and sye. That is the part I am waiting for.

My brother is going to be helping me this weekend coming up but his wife is due any day with their first. I might be losing my helper. We will see.

yeah I know but the paint was peeling so bad I had to do something about it and I dod not have faith in myself for the spray paint can paint job. My brother got his jeep painted by the same guy and he offered me a deal I couldn't refuse.

So I did some work this weekend on the jeep. I cut ad folded up the two rear quarter panels, I did the dodge neon fuel injector upgrade and I added the spectra cowl snorkel upgrade. Everything went great once I got my head out of my butt. It was so hot and I had 20 things to do around the house before I started working on my jeep by the time I was done I thought I had a POS product from Spectra. But after going out and looking at it the next day, I realized that I had put the rubber couplers on the wrong way making the whole assembly sit way to high for the hood to close. Once I swaped them around it works and looks great.

Wow that was scary. My truck almost caught on fire today because I am dumb. After cutting the rust off of my rear quarter and folding it up the two ends did not meet. So I welded a piece in but didn't think enough to remove the carpet on the top side. Sparks flew into the cabin and I obviously had a lot of smoke. Thankfully one of the guys at my work got my attention before it was too late. That was scary.

Almost ready
Life with kids got in the way of getting anything done on my jeep as planned/promised to myself. Needless to say that with a lot of patience, a lot of swearing and a lot of looking at BotakBeng's build page:
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/pr...-99-xj-128806/
I thought I was done after bleeding the brakes. But when I jumped in and fired it upmy brake peddle went right to the floor. From what my more experienced friends tell me I blew my master cylinder when bleeding the brakes. So although she is not operational until (hopefully) next week she sure does look mean. I was going to post pictures as I went a long but honestly BotakBeng's pictures (pages 3-5) are so much better. If I was Rough Country I would just send his link as instructions instead of theirs as his are much more in depth.

So I installed my hi lift today. Didn't want it binding up on me so I mounted it under my seat. Pretty simple to do. I just banged down my center hump a little and the. I used the previous jack screw hole to hold it steady. I also got my brakes fixed turns out that I just suck at bleeding brakes
