UPDATE!
Decided to get to the oil once the lift was on, should be early May.
Cragar V5's
Gorilla Lug nuts
Cragar Center caps
ORDERED!!!
Taking my driving test in two weeks as well. Build should pick up quickly soon after since I'll be able to drive myself and get parts lol.
Still on the hunt for a good deal on 30" General AT2 tires, websites offer low prices but expensive shipping, and stores just mark the prices up to compete with site prices and shipping haha. I'll probably end up ordering them through OK4WD and picking them up there. Five new rims, five new tires
Then I just have to get them mounted and balanced...

Me no want rubbage. Plus it would have costed me like 150 bucks more and I only have a D35 that I already tow a boat with. Don't want to push anything. I think my project this summer will consist of looking for a chrysler 8.25 and rebuilding it.
Was thinking the same thing! Thanks for the compliments! I'm going to end up spraying them this weekend and I think it will hold up fine, the brakes cant get hotter than the engine lol. Especially the drums. I think bed liner would work too.
UPDATE!
30" Firestone AT's mounted and balanced on my Cragar V5's as of last weekend. I'm still not going to show pics until the lift is on
Hang in there though. There will be a very big surprise after Memorial Day weekend...
I think you guys can guess what it will be... By then there will be plenty of pics uploaded!

Its been a while....
But we finished the lift! Had some hang ups here and there, like pressing out bolts for the JKS Quicker Discos, realigning the track bar so the we could get the bolt through again, and breaking some of the rear upper shock bolts haha. For me it was a very fun and frustrating experience at the same time. A big shout out to my cousin for all the help!
To make a long story short, my fingers were too caked with grease to take pics of the install, but I do have a few which I will post up later if anyone wants to see them
Now, on to those long-awaited pictures

Here she is! Just washed

Thanks Dutch! I turned 17 back in April so I have my probationary license right now
Ordered some cooling parts this morning:
-Flowkooler water pump
-New water pump coolant tube
-New thermostat housing
-Mopar 195* thermostat
Getting the truck prepped before taking it to Wharton this September!
In the next few weeks I'm also hoping to bed line my wheel wells.

You got that right! I'm going to be upgrading things here and there this winter and then I'm looking to go out a get a big group together early spring!
UPDATE!
So... school started back up again. I've been busy with tons of college applications but finally finished them all. My ambitions are to get into a Physician Assistant program. Currently looking at colleges out in PA and my number one pick is DeSales University. I've visited it around four times and every time I've gone there has always been a lifted jeep in one of their campus parking lots.
The second weekend of September I went down to Wharton State Park with my cousins to meet up with their Uncle. My cousins had a stock 1990 Wrangler and their Uncle had another (can't remember what year) with a four inch lift and 35 inch tires. I believe we took trails all the way up to High Point Crossing. It had rained the week before so what should have been puddles were two feet deep mud holes which made things even more awesome. Overall I loved the scenery and the trip. At one point its like driving on the beach with all the sand, then there is all mud, and finally some rocky platforms.
Here's some pictures and videos of the day:

It was a fun day. Planning on installing the cooling parts during winter break. Yesterday the rear shocks were replaced. Used the most recent write-up on Cherokee Forum by xKHANx to get it done. Many thanks for the good advice.
This winter I plan on installing 784 injectors, a 62 mm BBK throttle body, and some type of exhaust.
I'll keep you guys posted!
