Looks like I'll be getting my lift kit 1st part of next week. I already started spraying pb-blaster on everything. I think I'll spray all the parts every other day until my lift kit shows up.

Well I decided to paint some of my parts yellow. I think it's going to look awesome under the black jeep. I didn't want to paint everything because I though it would be too much yellow. I just painted the long arms and track bar. So far I'm really pleased with the construction of all the parts. This is some high quality product. Super heavy duty. I can't wait to get started on the install!!!

After a long day I pretty much finished the front end other than the brake lines that I need to soak with pb blaster for a few more days. All in all it wasn't a complete nightmare other than some stubborn bolts even after spraying them every other day for almost 2 weeks. I did destroy 1 bolt trying to get it out that I replaced with a grade 8. The parts from iron rock were awesome. The definetly make quality products. I would say the best tool that helped me out today was the torch for heating up bolts to break them loose.
I'll be starting the rear tomorrow.

So basically the rear has sucked! I broke both front leaf spring bolts inside the unibody and had to cut both upper shackle bolts because they were froze inside the bushings sleeve. 1 of the front bolts had a nub sticking out so I was able to weld another bolt on it and heat it up with the torch and back it out. The other one broke the nut off inside the unibody so I'm just going to pick up a grade 8 nut and bolt for that side. Whoever designed this crap should be shot! After I get a couple bolts tomorrow I'll be back at it.

Well after 3 long days I got the lift finished today. Other than the front brake lines and cutting the old lca mounts off. The rear brake line already had a extended stainless line and I relocated the front brackets to make it drivable I just can't be flexing my suspension out until I change them. I still need to take it and get an allignment but it drives really well other than the steering wheel not being straight. All in all I think the part that went the best was the hack-n-tap. Very straight forward and if you use new sharp drill bits it will drill very easily. I was dreading this because there has been some reports on here about having to split the transfer case and take the output shaft to a machine shop but definetly not the case for me. Took probly 1.5 hrs start to finish. Well worth the money.
Still have much more to come as money permits.

Well I did some final touches on the jeep today. I installed the front brake lines, cut off the lca mounts and did the front end alignment. The jeep feels really solid and I can't wait to get it on the trails.
