well let me start by saying ive been wanting a jeep forever so i started my look on craigslist and what do you know i found a 96 sport 2 dr 5 seed with a 3 and 1/2 inch lift and only paid 800 for with only 217000 miles and still runs dam good does need a lil work but not much has small radiator leak and some rust well this build is gonna be slow considering iam going to college and have a son but going 2mm to go get a snorkel i found on craigslist for 50 bucks
plans for the future:
6 1/2 lift
front and rear bumper
winch
upgraded axles
roof rack
upgrade lights
arb lockers with compressor
and who knows what else there always something that you want for your jeep thats all for now and keep you updated with plenty of pics any ideas let me know iam willing to listen i want a capable offroader plus a good dd love to play in the mud not much rocks really so if that elps give me some ideas on what i need not to get stuck in the mud it would be greatly appreciated

What made you decide to put the filter on top of your roof like that? And what brand roof rack is that? I wanna buy one.
Other than that, what a steal man. 2dr, 5speed, 4x4...you struck gold

looks like a bad place and bad idea...filter gets wet...sucks water into te motor and drains rain water in there while not driving...I would ditch that for potential problems

Alot of people face the snorkels forward which is good for air flow but it will catch rain and snow etc, if u angle it straight but facing down a little that would be best in my honest opinion
