my 1996 2 door 5 speed rust bucket
whatsup everyone im new to the jeep world, i started looking for a winter beater and found something close and in my price range and it stuck with me ever since. before i rescued it , the thing sat for 3 years on craigslist. apparently i was the only person in 3 years to check it out. at fist the price was $2,000 , did some haggling , got him down to $1,700 then took her home for $1,600. this is what it looked like when i brought it home
first thing done was a good cleaning and a good old diehard agm battery to get it going. after all that i has 2 codes, secondary O2 sensor code and tps code. the jeep would sputter out and stall , so i cleanded the iac , put in a new tps , and secondary O2 and BAM !!! no light and ran great.
next onto the leaking valve cover gasket
once that was all done i had to make it atleast look a little better with some wheels and tires so i oicked up 5 rugged ridge steel wheels and 255/70/15 grabber at2's
what they look like all installed , the jeep is stock height and they dont rub too much
next thing to tackle is the imfamous jeep starter issue, oil change , and cant forget about the K&N filter (+10hp)
still not done, went to go fill it up and smelt gas , figured it was something small , drove it home. the next day i looked out to see a puddle of gas under the tank. brought it to work put it on the lift and saw it was leaking from the tank itself , so it begins..... got the tank out and found this, i guess it was a little rusty
new tank
back out a week later playing in the mud
And ofcoarse the white stuff started to fall just after getting it all fixed
went out to the junkyard to do some picking and ended up bringing this gem home , a lund cab visor ! best $20 spent at the yard
more fun out in the snow
now i was debating on what i wanted to do with my spare tire situation and ended up doing this, surco safari rack with the spare tire mount , looks bad *** as well
there will be a lot more to come hope fully adustable upper and lower control arms and a 3 inch lift

here is the crack i spotted on the manifold, hoping it wont get any worse by the time i replace it with an apn header
got my brakes done at work because i was too lazy to do them the day before christmas eve , let me tell you was i lucky i had them done
little wash and wax on a 60 degree winter day
saw an rx7 at the gym and had to get a picture
some walmart parking lot flexing haha
then got bored and had to put the lund visor on
hopefully picking up bds upper and lower adjustable control arms off craigslist for $240 brand new
