My 1994 XJ Build
Well this is my very first build thread ever on here. Money is a little tight right now so this will not be a fast build. I just bought my very first Jeep about 3 weeks ago from a buddy of mine. Its a 1994 Jeep Cherokee XJ. Its got a 4.0 High Output, 5 speed, 3.5 inch Rancho lift kit, 32X11.50R15 tires, and a little over 156000 miles. So here it is:

so i tried hooking a small tach (RPM Gauge) that i bought at the local orielys auto parts and i followed all the instructions and hooked it up to the negative side of the coil like i have every other vehicle i have owned and it does not want to read the rpm's Can Someone Please Help Me I would greatly appreciate it.
