My 01 sport build
Picked up my new 01 cherokee after someone hit and totalled my first one.
Found it on craiglist for $3100 after I contacted the seller and was waiting for him to get back into town he called and told me it needed a head gasket and he dropped the price to $1800. Decided to still go take a look at it since it only had 125k and looked to be in good shape. It was well worth the $1800 since the head gasket turned out to be a $10 thermostat.
With the insurance check I got my RC 4.5 inch x series kit. Also needed to pick up a rearview mirror($15), an electric fan($65), new cat since it was from Ohio and didn't have one($80) and a clockspring which I found on ebay for $60 instead of the $260 the dealership wanted. Had the shop thats doing the inspection do the clockspring and the new cat/glasspack while it's there. Did spray some bedliner on the rockers and touched up the plastic bumpers.Fixed the window problem thanks to CF haha. More pics to come once I get it back home.

Plans for the jeep once its back from inspection:
4.5 inch lift
somekind of bumper or brush guard
12V power outlet in the hatch area
lights mounted on stock roof rack
And last but not least this decal I found at Walmart that'll go on once the lift is done.

I planned on having the lift on 2 weeks ago but the first clockspring I got didn't work so I had to wait on a replacement. I should have my jeep back tomorrow and the lift on saturday....hopefully. lol

Problem solved it was two blown fuses from leaving the battery hooked up while welding and the crank sensor was loose. popped my quick connect right off the bushing while flexing right after it started running again. haha Here's one picture more to come. Bumpers going on tomorrow and readjusting the control arms.
