its been awhile since i have updated this so here goes

got all the doors off and made them removable and the driver side rocker cut out passenger side to come next weekend

and we been working on the rear bumper
as i said in the last post we opened up the rear unirails and fab'd up some 4x2x3/16 tubes that slide inside (cut to fit around the leaf spring mounts and gas fill tube) with nuts welded to the inside to act as a nut strip
the box tubing on the rear bumper is 5x3x3/16 that we narrowed to 2-1/8" wide inside to fit over the 4x2 after narrowing the 5x3 we welded it back together (full pen) and bolted it through the 4x2 it also has end plates that bolt into the factory bumper mounts so its held on with the 5 bolts from the bottom into the 4x2 and the 4 factory mounts i think 9 bolts per side is good enough lol ill have to get more pics when its removed

complete interior is out including the dash we will start cutting out the floors next and welding in the 6x2x3/16 tube to replace the rockers
while the floor is out we will probably add the unirail reinforcements and start planing the cross member for the long arm setup in front and the four link in rear

i also got in a waggy front D44 ,the compressor clutch for the york compressor, a 5 gallon air tank, and some other misc parts

we also sold the motor from the 91 and got what parts where good from that i need to sell what i wont be using to open the garage back up
all in all its finally moving along

and yes being i have no lift all 4 wheels are on ramps so i dont have to bend and crawl as much lol we arnt as young as we use to be

i have a cheap bender it ended up flating the tube no matter what was tried to prevent it

so

the rear bumper is from jeeptubes.com

like a ealier post says i had them replace there lower tube with a second upper tube then i had them bend a few peices @ 60 degrees for me for the ends
