Got the hi lift mounted had some L brackets left over from my brother in laws side steps they are pretty thick so I painted them flat black and used the top bumper mounting bolts to secure them.
Then I used some 1/2" bolts and old sway bar link bushings for the rubber and drilled a hole in the bolt for a lock.

went to the salvage the other day looking for a radiator couldn't find one so I decided to look around and see what I could find came across a 1993 so I snagged the bumper end caps because my looked butchered.

so I pulled the old ones off and flat blacked it until I can get some roll on bed liner. looks like crap but it's been to cold to do the bed liner.

did you reuse the mounts from your bumper to put the hi-lift on the rack? just curious how you made it work.

yes I reused the same brackets just drilled holes in the roof rack to mount the hi lift and used my old sway bar end link bushings in between the bracket and hilift for a spacer and a little cushion. doesn't rattle just the hilift plate on the bottom when you hit a lot of bumps.

Had to put the old fender flares back on because I butchered the driver side quarter panel trying to cut and fold.
Finally got some 31's

thanks for the replies I really noticed a big difference in the mud on the side of the jeep. I don't have to wash it everyday I'm trying to find some new flares cheap and still look decent.

Early model flares work great. Trim them up a bit, mount them up higher along the mid body line, look pretty bad azz. I have a set off a 95 I planed on using but still trying to mount them without it looking cheeze ball ish'.
