What type welding and technique did you use to weld to the cast pumpkin?
Is the D30 cast "Iron" or cast steel ?

Trussed 30 is under it.

Shock mounts below lower control arm bolt. Theyre pretty close to living in the same place.

drove it around the block. 3.55 gears actually feel pretty good compared to 307. Not a power house but doesnt feel like it struggles from a stop anymore.
Gold clutch feels like stock, I guess that's good.

Hoping to be driving it in a couple days.i wnt to see how raised arms feel before going longer arms

This photo brings things current. So so close to taking it for shake down. Pretty much wrestle exhaust in check bolts and go. I do need to re visit shocks soon as theyrw severally liitting down travel. Will rework mounts or run 11" 5125s (cough)

Steering is more solid after inside frame brace.
she's been parts runner for the 150

Recently found i like rocks and 3.55 gears don't. Thinkkng on 4.88 or 4.56 gears along with a possible 231/231 doubler. Or economy black box.

I have been distracted with the ford. Fabbed exhaust and got it running semi decent ish.

Pie cut bends from engine to tail pipe with spintech muffler

I did end up doing it to kinda a axle dump to kill some sound.

The 3link has seen 1500 miles now and is doing amazing. Freeway to rocks

I am thinking about changing the upper mount so I have adjust from 7-9" of link seperation. I have mounting points on lower links at 7-8 but I like lowers in the raised 7 spot. 8" is much more stable and alittle firmer ride.
link seperation plays a huge role in tuning. currently lowers are nearly flat and i want to leave them that way..

Thats all thats been going on.

Update.

4.88 gears with grizzly front locker raised front a 1/2"

Gears and grizzly have turned this thing into a mtn goat.

Working on gather h1 stuff to recenter to 5x4.5 and possibly get a set of 35" boggers. Ive ran boggers before I really like them.

I scrounged up tools to do gears myself. And researched alot. Also made a set pf dana 30 set up bears

So far I've got one pvc insert fabbed from a 4ft of 16" i found.
the othere 4 are on my pickup

37s look good on the truck. Figured id burn these up on the truck while im gathering wheel fab stuff. I think theyre to big for the jeep i dont want to loose to much of the 4.88 to that much tire. 4.88 33s feels perfect on the trails 35 probly will to

One center cut out and trady for jeep center

Pvc insert i made to replace the runflats

Test run winching insert into tire. With tgese wheels i can pack a spare tire no extra wheel needed

From a trail today

Centennial trail in idaho

Bought it for now. Constant tunning and changing. By the way tires will be from interco probly boggers.
