thanks man. tons of people dig the wheels. i do lol
i got a front driveshaft from a 97 4.0 auto xj w. the 231 tc. i think thats the number i dont honestly remember but its the same one as the one in mine so hopefully that works well. craigslist, it was like $40.

double shear track bar is installed. ill have pictures soon. overall its really easy to do, just breaking the first bit of tightness on the bolts is the hardest part.

my sye will be going in soon enough, i need franks help for that one lol

it wasnt held on by much... too much flexin in the snow ;D tire kept knocking it off... i guess just being loose and wind from the highway took it off. who knows?

I'm back.
whatsup everybody. long time no see. just wanted to give a few quick updates and also ask for some help from my peers on the CF.

so lets start off with some of the simple stuff. when we last left off, my fender flare had flown off on the highway. i took care of that and cut&fold the rear fenders. front is still pending. unfortunately this is the only fender picture i have

next up, i started my light bar so i could add the 2 extra lights that i had using only 1 piece of flat iron and the light tabs that were already on my jeep. it came out wonderfully i think.

measuring it up

Getting it all mounted:

DONE: (also, each light has a plug so the bumper or lightbar can be very easily removed)

oh... then i almost flipped down a hill at Rousch Creek.

^ that was fun. frank was in front of me and gets me on the cb he says "hey where are you?" to which i responded " I think im about to flip." He thought i was over exaggerating, but when he ran back up the hill he said "holy ***** youre about to flip" hahaha. I crawled out the passenger side, and frank took about 30 minutes to get out of the trail and come back around from the start to winch me back up the hill. I havea video of that somewhere I will post it when i get it.

Straight flexin on these mother fudgers: (also notice the cut rear fenderflares.)

-----------------------------------------------------

so now here is my problem. engine went bang. =( I want to get it bored out to a 4.6 or a 4.8 (if it is doable) but I dont know any good companys around central NJ that do that kind of stuff. I really think this is a better solution than replacing it with a junk yard engine, even though it is more expensive. HELP!

Thanks guys,

-Joe

So I never posted any pictures of my headlights but over the summer I did my own custom retrofits. I used some crappy eBay housings, and a morimoto hid projector kit w. Relay. With some help from the forum members I now have the best headlights I've ever had in any of my vehicles. Custom painted to match.
