I'm not worried about your choice of switches, it's the twist and tape method connecting your wires, and the loose random routing of the wires that can cause you some real problems.

o only one connection is like that and it is a ground then the others are done by wire nuts

and all wires that were run in the cab are tied together loom stylei just need to clean up the engine bay but they are really not loose

i tried to get a 4wd but could not find one fairly in expensive that i could afford this is the first vehicle i owned on my own since im in college but my baby is fast and she gets good mileage i am looking for a 4wd one but im gonna keep this one cause she is still mine.

LOL... i'll send you a switch with the stickers i owe ya. 
Take your time, keep doing the little mods and performing maintenance. You can always grab a junker for a few hundred and convert yours to 4WD. Mine started 2wd as well..

Performed a new mod over the weekend painted the little girl black and got rid of that horrible blue looks really good to me plus my girlfriend helped isn't she just awesome
