What poly bushings? I have swapped the rubber in a set of motor mounts for poly, but never a suspension bushing. The motor mounts were two pieces of steel that sandwiched the poly insert. Does the poly press into the stock sleeve? Are you pouring a poly bushing with liquid poly?
And why are you using poly bushings? I know in a sports car the poly stiffens the suspension. I was under the impression Jeeps wanted flex-y suspensions. Wont the poly bushings restrict articulation?
I don't mean to insult or question you. I am ignorant to the use of poly in a Jeep and looking to learn something.

I'm using poly bushings basically for everything. In my projects and in customer cars in the shop. It does make the suspension more stiff, but on the road. In off road you won't feel the difference between rubber and poly, except the fact that poly will last much longer. The suspension will be flexy if not more flexy on the poly bushings. Also Poly bushings won't affect the articulation. It will be basically same as on the rubber but much more durable.

And press it to the sleeve on the axle.
we did full poly bushing conversion and 4 inch lift on this XJ. It's flexy and still have a lot more to go on the ramp.

Trusses are all welded.
Front diff cover came in from Motobilt Inc. I can say, it's pretty beefy.
Tomorrow axles are going to be sand blasted, so I can continue to work on the suspension.
I cut out all the brackets from the rear axle. I'm going to make some brackets for the shocks, springs, control arms, and limit straps. I'm also going to make some weld-on skid plate for the dana 44A.
Triangulated rear shock conversion, 4 link rear, belly skid plate, and front long arms. That's what I will be working on during the next days.
I also scored some nice stuff for the project ( 4 white boxes )

Front crossmember for the long arms is done. I made a 3-piece crossmember, because it will be much easier to do any work with the transmission or transfer case, without taking the whole suspension apart. In case I need to do some work there, I just take out the center section, and all links stay in place. Much more convenient, than one-piece crossmembers.
* sorry for blurry photo
Also new Spartan locker came in the mail yesterday! Now I'm waiting to pick up the axles from sand blasting

Quick update about the crossmember.
I welded some plugs on the end with a holes for cleaning.
The plate for the transmission mount is welded on as well.
Axles came from the sand blasting and I sprayed them with some primers to prevent rusting. I didn't finsh them just yet.
The two black axles are for the Project WJ

* BUNCH OF PHOTOS *
A lot of stuff came in the mail today!
Now... Put the new suspension together
Offset coil plates for the rear axle + retailers. This stuff is BEEFY !
Rear, shorter shocks brackets
Enduro joint for the front and rear long arms
Heavy wall tube insert for the long arms
1 ton rod ends for the steering. Offset, because I'm going with WJ axles and don't want to have any clearence issues.
Stuff for the new 1 ton steering. ( tube inserts, jam nuts, GM 1 ton inserts )
All kinds of nuts for the long arms etc.
2 hardware kits. Just because I don't wanna to reuse the old bolts and nuts.

We have a lot of work in the shop, and I don't have much time to work on my personal project, but I have a little update anyways
I made the skid for the Dana 44A to keep this aluminum housing in one piece lol
Also the skid is welded, not just bolted, so it is basically like a second truss. I think the 44A is strong enough now.
I put my new diff cover on too, so you can have an idea how it will look like.

Few days ago, beadlock DIY kit came in the mail.
Yesterday I welded everything together and sent the wheels to powder coating.
I can't wait to see them on the jeep

LITTLE UPDATE ON THE BUILD
I'm currently working on the front axle. Everything is ready to put in, and I was hoping to have it done earlier. Well as always something have to be on the way. I had to remove the whole pinion from the housing and change the bearings and seal. Hopefully, I will have it all together by next week.
Now from the good news. I installed the locker, new ball joints on both sides and new polyurethane bushings. I started to work on the Slip yoke eliminator as well.
