Default Jeep Cherokee Table

Hi newbie here but used many types of forums so i know what im doing most of the time lol

I have a DT (design and technology) project that im doing at school, i practically finished it today and just want opinions from Cherokee owners and fans of what they think of it please?
Positive or negative

Its a table made from recycled parts, leather wrapped around some plywood, fully threaded stem with bolts on each ends to keep it strong and the main part, the Jeep Cherokee alloy wheel

Its not the best paint job ive done, but bought the wheel from the scrapyard, cleaned it up, primer and paint.

I sprayed the centre gold as there was plenty of it available so thought i would try it for a laugh, it turned out quite well i think

The finished result

I hope to sell it on when its been marked and assessed

Thanks
(i hope the pictures are not too large)

Very creative use of a Jeep part. Might be a good conversation piece in the garage, while taking a break with buds and beers.

Welcome to CF from Dan in Tenn.!

That really is a creative use for spare parts. I'd say it would go great in a batchler pad. I know that cause my wife would kill me if I brought something like that into the house..

i would have thought you would use the the rim to hold a piece of glass and have legs coming out the bottom of the rim,... that would look a lot nicer

kinda like that, or this

Nice table I want one.

This also reminds me of what my uncles friend did. He took the front clip off a CJ and used the grille and fender fronts and turned it into a headboard for his bed. lol He even put the lights in and wired them so you can plug them in and they work.

Hmmm ... a gold honeycomb XJ wheel ... where have I seen that before? Possibly on my XL Limited when I first bought it? ummm, YES!

I knew there would be a use for those one day. Very creative.
