Leafs are out....snapped sawzaw blade, almost broke my breaker bar, think I broke my arm lol, broke bolts, got new u bolts and now getting ready to put leafs back in.

I had to lay on ground push back on front tire and use breaker bar with my feet to break bolt loose on front part of leaf.

Best part is all those people having troubles with upper shock bolts mine came out super easy lol

Wish me luck on part two!! Photos when done.

I've never heard of gold bar so I have no idea where that's at. I do hope to go to Tallulah with the boy and his buddy sometime in the future, but since I don't have a trailer I'll have to be careful.

I'm one of the rare people that gets to say that I can wheel in my back yard. In fact I got two trucks just sitting in the yard right now.

Your rig is looking pretty nice! What kind of overall height gain do you think you'll have with all the changes you've done?

Well those are RE leafs 3.5" in rear with what I believe to be 1" shackles in rear. They are at the lower hole on shackles so that obviously raised it up slightly more.

Not sure exactly the amount of height I'll gain except that front should end up being level with rear. It will clear 33" no problem and then maybe even 35" but pushing it.

You'll probably need to flex your suspension some when you get it put together, to see how everything moves, before deciding on tire size. 33" have always done great for me, but I like BFG MT's and they are usually meaty enough to be the same size as a 35" street tire.

I'm going with 35's simply to get my diff a little higher and to have more tire to grab snow. If I was planning on trail driving I'd look at getting some good 33's that had more room to articulate.

How far are you from Lake Stevens area?

I'll defiantly take photos I guess they recently updated the trails in Reiter Foothills.

Yea I'm gonna get a meaty 33" tire for sure. 35's would be sweet but not sure I need that. What size lift you putting on yours?

My lift will be 6 1/2 long arm, and I'll be doing some fender chopping to make sure the 35's will have room to move.

Yea that stinks you are a little ways from me. I remember now that you wanted a 6.5 kit on yours. I have a set of 6" coils I'm not using I would mail them to you if you want then. Just pay shipping and they are yours. Probably won't need them "skyjacker" brand.

I'm about to drain rear diff oil on my D35. Anyone know how much gear oil I will need to refill it and also what weight? Some places online say 75w-90 some say 75w-150 and others. Then mention friction modifier, etc.

All confusing to me so need some help before I go buying oil. Also does it matter on brands because I know this stuff can be pricey at times like Royal Purple brands but I want some decent stuff. After all we are talking about a major component of the jeep.

Also full synthetic good choice or no?

75-90 is fine. Brand doesn't matter. Friction modifiers are usually for those with a stock locker.

Thanks bud! I'll grab some tomorrow now that I know. Its what about 2qts or so but I'll be safe with 3 right? Won't hurt to have extra for when I do the front anyhow.
