I want to paint my 97 GCL
I want to paint my Cherokee, I'm getting some peeling of the clear coat right above the windshield and a couple of spots on the front fenders as well as above the rear lift gate.
I don't plan on disassembling everything like they would do in a custom shop, mostly plan to just tape/paper off the windows etc. Will be doing this probably over the course of a week in my garage.
How do the lower panel on the doors come off? Do I have to remove the door panels? I'm thinking of removing them all together.
What paint would anyone recommend? I plan on keeping it black! Going to buff the wheels out and paint them as well. My air gun say's non latex paint only so I'm not sure what kind of paint to put on a vehicle. I've used a basic glossy black to paint wheels before with real nice results. I don't mind spending a little more money for a higher quality paint.
Any suggestions are welcome!
