I should've built an XJ a long time ago build thread
Well I've been checking out tons of build threads on here for a couple months now ever since I sold my zj and left Colorado for Florida. Initially I was looking for something a little more fuel efficient but I couldn't pass up the chance to get a free xj! I just had to pay to get it to florida from north carolina and she was mine! So that's where it starts, going from a 94 5.2 zj on 6 inch long arms and 33s to a bone stock 98 xj

I knew I wanted to do a small lift and a little bit more aggressive tires so I started researching and pricing kits. Being new to the whole xj thing I was surprised how much cheaper everything is than building a zj (not that I consider building any jeep cheap) haha I ended up ordering the Rubicon express 3.5 super flex kit with new rear leafs. Install did not go according to plan at all haha every single bolt was rusted to every single sleeve so there was a lot of cutting and replacing stuff but turned out pretty well! Got driveline vibes pretty bad until we installed a 1inch t case drop and took care most of the vibrations

Welcome to Cherokee Forum! The Jeep looks nice! And it looks like you're doing it right the first time, too haha. I wanted an RE lift but being in high school and jobless, that's gonna be hard to manage...

Well the 31s were rubbing at full lock so I decided to take my front flares and bumper end caps off
