Last night I installed blue LEDs in the speedo cluster. I couldn't be happier. The only PITA was getting the bezel off without taking the headlight **** off. Luckily I was able to force it through w/out having to take it off or breaking anything. Shout out to Cuzco25 for pointing me in the right direction for the proper bulbs.
Also, I'm getting a new battery. I killed mine in 30 minutes during the install just by playing music.

My buddies and I went wheeling on Saturday in PA. It's a trail we've been to 3 or 4 times already, and it's starting to get "old", but 2-3 inches of heavy wet snow kept the whole day interesting. This was the first time out on my new tires, and I'm so glad I went with the chunky muds. The day was fun and eventful: my buddy in his stocker bottomed out in a mud hole, (Honeybadger to the rescue!) and she found her calling as an icebreaker. I have a video of that, I'll try to upload after work.
Just a few pics are below, no action shots. Also my dad came out with us for the first time... I think we may be adding another Cherokee to our little group in the future.

Not too much going on with the Honeybadger lately. I've been replacing the interior lights with LEDs one or two at a time. I have the front and rear dome lights and the map lights done. I'm not too happy with the rear; the site I bought them from didn't have the same shade of white as the fronts so it's got a little bit of a yellow/orange tint to it. I'll have to find another site and try another bulb. Once I have everything to my liking I'll post pics and part numbers for those interested.
I've noticed an engine tick at idle. It goes away as soon as I give it a little gas, and it doesn't do it when I'm driving. I'm pretty sure it's a lifter tick. I'll have to try some sea-foam or something to get rid of it.
The extended start has not gone away with the warmer weather like I had hoped. I'll be doing the infamous injector swap next month. If that doesn't fix it I guess I'll be replacing the fuel pump when I'm on unemployment (loosing my job in July, f*#k this economy).
I'm starting to regret not getting the JCR winch bumper. My plan was to mount the winch (when I get it) on a receiver mount and move it from front to back as needed, but the more I think about it the less I like that idea. But since I've already got the pre-runner on and painted I'll just have to live with it.

How are the 32's with the 3in Lift? I just had an 'expert' tell me that if I wanted 32's or 33's that I MUST have a minimum of 6in of lift.
I want a mild trail rider and long term DD, (without TC drop, SYE etc) and I am really dubious over this guys statements based on the way your (and other) 3in rigs look.
Also, any chance of getting some pics of the Bushwackers mounting on the rear doors. I really like that look, but not sure of the mounting.
Thanks,
Dutch

One of my friends is going to get a 4" LA in the next month (my long term plan), and he is going to do 33s. We don't think he'll have rubbing issues after bumpstops and fender trimming. He was going to do a 6" LA like my other buddy has, but it's SO much more expensive with the SYE and extra gear.
As for the mounting of the rear flares, what are you wanting pics of? It's a pretty intense job. I wouldn't have tried it by myself. My friend with the 6" LA and 33s has the same style flares, so after he did his we did mine. It requires cutting and bending of the sheet metal. I don't have many pics of the rears, what I have is below. Hope it helps.
I am by no means an expert on Jeeps, but based on my experiences, a 3" and 32s are just fine

Well, it was quite an eventful weekend for the Honeybadger.
On Friday I installed 784 fuel injectors I bought from a guy on this forum, Programbo. I bought 3 sets, 1 for me and 1 for each of my buddies, and he gave us a good group rate. The only problem I had during install was my fuel rail nozzles had some rust buildup that prevented me from seating the injectors, but after some filing and lube we got them all in. I noticed a significant improvement as soon as I started her up. I guess my old ones were pretty shot. It runs smoother, and my extended crank is gone. 1 of my buddies did his on Sunday with positive results as well. I'll post any MPG improvements (right now I'm getting 15 with mostly city driving).
Then, on Saturday I noticed my brakes were grinding and my pedal pulsating. Took the drum off Sunday morning to find that one of the springs had come loose and gotten stuck between the drum and shoes. So, $78 later, I rebuilt the whole RR brake setup (I had just done both 10 months ago. I blame myself and not the hardware for this failure.)
With my job end date now just weeks away, I think there will be lots of updates in the coming months. (to do list includes finishing the LED interior swap, windshield seal replacement, new headliner, undercoating, new hubs, stereo) Lots to do. Stay tuned!
