Clear

Clear

Really glad I decided to change the color. Looks really good in the sun

The Colorado red is a bit brighter, probs the result of 30 years of sun exposure. It'll do for a couple years till I repaint the rest the green.

Pretty pleased with my first real panel replacement. Some dust in the paint but I can buff that out.

Honestly, wow. I admire the work and effort you put into that truck to make it look as nice as that. This is my goal for my next Jeep that I fix up for myself.

I cannot wait to see the finished product.

Thanks! It's been a struggle getting to the point of paint but now that I'm onto reassembly, I'm sure it'll be much more fun.

I wish we had a do it yourself sand blasting place, that would make things much easier

Yeah I'd still be running a damn grinder to this day if I didn't have that place. Had the whole underside spotless in an hour and a half.

That blue is a beautiful color! I can only imagine how you're feeling to start seeing stuff in a solid color after prepping for so long.

Replaced all the tired looking loom on the harness.

Engine bay us coming along. Very time consuming when every little bracket need to be sanded and repainted.

Booster upgrade

Bent up new lines for the dual diaphragm booster

Installed the KJ discs on the 8.25 and welded on some mounts for the hose. Bent up new hard lines as well

Added 3/16 plate to the axle plates as the shipping for nice Iron Rock ones to Canada is crazy expensive as always.

Installed the dust shields after these pictures

1.25" adapters to go the the newer jeep bolt pattern. FYI if you're putting on 1.25" spacers go ahead and order some PTC 97214 wheel studs which fit a 1990 Ford F-150. Then you just need to trim them a smidge and you'll have wheel studs that actually are the right length with the spacers installed and have full thread engagement plus a couple threads.

Axle in with IRO Rock Link

Shocks and wheels on.
