Well then I'm sorry for your troubles. I probably woudn't buy another wheel from them again that is for sure. Unless you know you beat on them pretty hard then maybe they survived some abuse and finally gave up.

Something I see with those wheels I Really don't like is how the bolt holes are right next to each other like that. That is poor engineering from the get go, so the rest of the wheel is probably just as poorly engineered. They could have evenly staggered those two different patterns.

X2 on that observation I didn't even take notice but now that you mentioned it I certainly agree.

I've definitely abused these wheels, they have large amounts of rock rash, but not a lot of hard impacts I don't think. I bought another wheel because I can't really afford to buy 5 new wheels and pay to have my tires mounted again. Maybe someday I can afford wheels.

Understandable....and just glad you got it fixed and back on its own wheels again. Out of curiosity what did it cost you for a new wheel?

$120 for the wheel. Used to be cheaper, but I guess price went up on them.

So I've never had any issues with 4wd before. I got the boostwerks linkage just to simplify things and help with clocking angles and stuff. The jam nuts aren't loose, and the linkage seems to not have changed in anyway since it was first installed and adjusted. It didn't seem to have a pattern to when it would do it. Sometimes uphill sometimes downhill sometimes on the gas sometimes not. Could the trans mount just be worn and the linkage need re adjusting? I drove it close to 100 miles in 4 lo last weekend and it was perfectly fine, but this weekend it was less than 20 miles and it was messing up. And opinions? Or suggestions?

Edit: it was popping out of 4 lo forgot to mention that part. Guess I was so focused on laying out the set up and when it was messing up to actually tell what it was doing.

What is it doing? You mentioned something wrong with it but never really explained what it was doing....

I just ordered my boosterks linkage over the weekend looking forward to its arrival.

Whoops it was popping out of 4 low. Also, could you maybe take a picture of the adjustment instructions and post them up?

My current list before next wheeling trip:
-wire in fan control to keep temps down and reduce heat soak
-replace motor mounts
-replace o2 sensor and hope it fixes the misfires
-rebuild at least one Johnny joint
-hopefully, maybe new joints for steering
-think about maybe replacing the exhaust manifold
-check to see if it pops out of 4 low after replacing motor mounts.
-start stripping career to afford all of these parts

Not sure if I'm late on this but I could still post those instructions for you. I just got the kit the other night but I never opened it. Let me know if you still need them.

So internally on the TC's they have shift forks and on those forks there is these plastic guides. When rebuilding my TC due to stretched chain I discovered some of those plastic pieces broke apart. Turns out they control the shifting of the 4wd system. Or aid in shifting it for that matter. Maybe yours are worn or beat up causing it to slip out? I hope not but just thought of it....Here is what I'm referring to.

Without tearing apart your TC your not going to know for sure. Honestly it might not even be that but perhaps give it some thought if you try everything else.

I rebuilt the transfer case not too long ago and when I rebuilt it the factory ones I replaced we're still in good shape so I doubt that's it. I think the motor mount flopping around is causing my issues.

Could still use those instructions if you have them. Plan to fix the motor mounts (hopefully this weekend if I'm lucky) and then loosen the linkage and readjust it to be sure it's right.
