Let me introduce myself.My name is Pavel and i am from Russia.Maybe i have posted in a wrong place of the forum but i am really glad to meet you guys.I own 93 XJ from september 2011 and still have a lot of plans,such as engine swap and making some tech mods.Here is my XJ.Sorry for my english skill,i do not use any dumb translators and trying to do all my best to type correctly.So i hope you will reply soon

 

Nice looking jeep! What have done to it so far? What kind of lift and tires are those?

 

Hello Pavel, Welcome to CherokeeForum. That's a great looking Jeep you have.

 

I have made a 4.5 inch lift with custom springs (our jeepspb.ru club production) and Skyjacker 8000 Nitro (front).Leafs are custom too.Shocks are stock and fittings are moved up.I will show how it looks later.We have a lot of different russian stuffs that are pretty similar to US cars,so we can modify them.Especially when budget is tight Tyres are russian too.They are too heavy and i want to change them.Maybe i will buy a Cooper or BFG.

What sort of engine did you plan on substituting?
The 4.0 L is very popular here, so parts are readily available.
But I could see how this might not be the case in Russia.

Wow.So many people tell me that my Jeep is cool.I am at work now and do not have a lot of time and typing from phone. Dobro Pozhalovat` is the same as Welcome Absolutely right,man I will install amc 242 or something V8.There is no problem with parts here.The one and only problem for everyone who want to make some mods with car is money and free time.This september i will try do do all my best to visit again my lovely NY.So long Guys,my boss is searching for me

Yesterday was a great day of all jeepers from our club.We celebrated clubs birthday! 3 years is not to much but we are together and this is great!
