i posted a how to under the tech section, it wasnt bad to remove tint. so got some stuff done. fender flares are completely bolted on. fenders are bolted on.front clip is on. front shocks installed. located some rims and tires for spare. and started on a temporary SNORKEL. yes i said that word. i know alot of you guys are against it because of looks. this truck will probably never see the road agian, so functionality wins that battle.

ive been brainstorming for a long time now how to make a simple, good looking snorkel...or just move the air intake...its my daily driver...so i havent really thought of anything yet...other then a backwards hood scoop on the left side of my hood...that would be a project. but i removed the factory bubbly purple tint...and retinted the way back windows on my 4 door with 5%. i had a nice sound system in there and i didnt want passer byers to see it so easily. and i like the back windows tinted...keeps the heat alittle bit down in the summer.

Quote: yes and i hate it. any ideas how to remove tint?

start peeling hahaha

if the tint's older than 5 years then it will be a pain in the azz to remove... why do you hate it though? i think it makes it look meaner

EDIT: nevermind i see you already removed it lol

Yea I should have rephrased that. I love tint on a vehicle that I drive on a daily basis. I'm in south Florida it gets hot. But for a weeksend mudder it's not worth it to me. Besides the mud will act like tint lol. Saturday is going to be her maden voyage.

What brand of flares? How much extra room do they give you?

I ask because I am considering a 2" lift and fender flares to get enough room for at least 31x10.5x15 tires.

dont know brand, got them at the junk yard. i only got them because the PO did such a horrible job at cutting the fenders it was a more logical answer then new fenders. 100$ for the set. as for extra room, they go all the way up to the body line so the way i have them i gained about 3inches or so.
