if you have a stock spare its fine in the back. i was just wondering if you went bigger what you were planning on doing with it, whether you were going to leave it in the back or go swingaway carrier. I'm personally going with the dirboundoffroad rear tire carrier

Here are my plans for the Xj over the next year.
First- Flat bushwackers
Second- 33x12.5 inch Nitto trail grapplers with bigger but the same wheels and half inch spacers
third: I need a full size spare, so maybe a rear bumper with a swing away tire carrier?
Fourth:Bed line lower panels near door trim
fifth: Flowmaster?
sixth: Roof rack?

Sorry for being away so long! The Jeep is running great with the new engine, which only has 77k miles on it. I am going to install a maglite mount hopefully soon on the opposite side of my CB.
