After some scrubbing and some paint. The steering box went back in. Got my headers on for a test fit and I have started reassembling the stuff under the hood.

I removed the old exhaust and prepped the borla stainless setup to go in.

New engine looks sweet. Can't wait to see the rest of this come together. Did you go with the 4.5L or 4.7L option?

4.8L. Go big or go home! It actually went together really sweet. I had some concerns putting an old engine in a 2000 but do far everything is lining up fine.

I got it running, and it runs pretty well. I had some valve adjustment issues, but those have been fixed.

I warmed it up just a little bit ago for the first time and everything seems to be holding. I discovered a small oil leak near the oil filter housing, that shouldnt be a huge issue. It also didn't want to stay running after it warmed up. It would run at a higher rpm just fine but if I revved it up and let off the gas, it stalled and did not want to restart. I eventually got it so it would idle roughly but I have some trouble shooting to do on that. Any suggestions would be great!

I had to pull apart the entire passenger side front suspension in order to get the oil pan back on, so it looks like I am on to the lift at this point!

Some video of the Stroker in action.

I am not real sure what the spark is all about that comes off of the AC unit when it first fires. Hopefully its not serious. I have never noticed it before just now when I watched the video.

I assume you got the idle/O2 sensor issue figured out?

No, I am going to tackle the 02 sensors this evening. I just had a request for some video.

I liked the red. Its a bit brighter than I thought it would be. But I am starting to like it more and more!

Trenton, MI! Not too far away. If you head north, we should do some Jeepin. I work on all of the state land up here so I have a pretty good trail reference.
