A locked rear end under load...it tended to drag the rear under dd conditions. I really needed an open rear end with the amount for suspension cycle/movement the XJ has under load. Now with the ARB the drivability feels like a totally different XJ. Much more road friendly when we chose not to tow her..under load she feels much more powerful, predictable and consistent. Not to say that the Detroit didn't work great, it worked fantastic off-road! Also, the mpg's went up approximately 2.7mpg's

oh ok for sure. yeah I can't afford to care about driveability haha. I love it off road though just wanted to know if you were having problems with it on the trail.

Haha. Maybe im missing stuff: i just figured:
Xj: 2k
Suspension/steering: 5k
Paint/liner: 2k
Armor: 2k
Axle upgrades/lockers etc: 4k
Misc (lights, winch, random stuff): 4k


Thats only 19k. What am i missing? Im not bashing the rig... honestly its my favorite xj I've seen...by a long shot

Amazing jeep here, only thing I would do different would be the fenders. I'd do what you had on your previous jeep, which was also amazing lol.

No worries bud! They're just giving you a hard time...you would have to read the whole build up to understand how much is really in the heep..I'll post up the build sheet when i get back home and let you guys guess the math. Who ever guesses the rightish amount gets a free hat! Lol!

I know you have over 2k in just lights. Over 3k in axles. Id say 1200 on the tires.
