was installing the disconnects today...
snapped the nuts on top where the drop links meet the sway bar, so that made it easy to take them off, but then couldn't get one of the nuts on the bolt that attaches to the lower sway mount. So i used a saws all to cut it off. Then found out that the factory snugly fit the lower bolt and ended up flatting out the point on my Tie-rod End Puller when romoving one bolt. Now i need to go buy a new one or jsut borrow one form autozone to take out the other one. But for now i am ridding around with only one side of my sawy bar connected:-p not safe but the whole boat feeling is nice. but here is two pics i took before i got too pissed to take more during the swap.

It helps if you use a good pitman arm puller, and plenty of penetrating oil.

My main problem was i couldnt get the nut of the spline bolt so i cut it off at the base near the lower sway mount. i figured the spline bolt was not pressed in and jsut was a normal bolt and woudl pop out easy, but i was wrong. But i did end up geting it out after trying a difreant pitman arm puller. Here is what the bolt looked like...

finnal got both disconnects installed, now just waiting in the lift. Hopefully i get it mid to eraly week so i can start the install want to get it all in by friday night. Hopefully i can as long as i get it delivered this week. but here is the JKS Disconnect...

I drove around with one disconnect off for a day and after putting this one on noticed i big diffreance in the ride. Ride is a lot stiffer not so rocky from missing one of the disconnects:-p

great start i love the disconnects they look familiar for some reason. nice start on the lift they are never as easy as they seem there are rusty bolts stuck nuts things are hard to get to. don't get stressed out to easy just take your time and have a good time doing it. don't do like i did i did my lift my rear main seal and a front brake job all at the same time it took about a week of cold nights and cussing to finish mine.
