okay I have started a double build this week. I have started out with an 89 xj with a 2'' lift on it all ready it has an ax15 tran and a d44 rear end. I plan on:
swaping out the front end with a non disconect d30
swaping the cooling system with a 92 or newer system
4'' RE lift w/ full leafs
33'' tires
front and rear lockers
rebuild home made bumpers that I had put on it
sye
convert air conditioner into a compressor
pulled out the interior to install a liner
build half doors or tube doors
hood vents
I have trimmed the front and rear fenders
security console
and possibly an exo cage later down the road.

I have also started a mild build on my 96 w/ 8.2 re and auto trans I am going to build a set of bumpers w/ a rear tire swing 2'' lift and a set of soft 8's just going to keep it simple as it will remain my daily driver. progress will be slow since I am poor and the 89 is at my parents house in Nebraska and I live in South Eastern Colorado but I will post up some pics when I get a chance and after I make some progress since all of you know what a stock xj and one with trimmed fenders looks like.
