Default Driggs' 98 XJ Sport

Hey everyone. Just picked up a great 98 XJ via CraigsList for pretty cheap. It's my first XJ and my first non VAG Car (VW/Audi Group).

I got it mainly for a winter car/tow vehicle for my Audis.

I don't plan on going crazy with it, but there's a few things up my sleeve that I'll post when I tackle them.

First off is take care of the leaking oil filter housing. Picked up all the parts yesterday, and I'll tackle it on Friday.

Oh also, car has 250,000 miles.

Outside of the poor quality cd receiver, it's entirely bone stock.

Just did the oil filter housing o-rings. What a royal pain in the a$$.

Sears luckily had a t60 socket that had a Allen set screw so I could remove the bit.

Also did my first oil change as an XJ owner. Easy least.

Now I need to go steam clean the engine after the oil filter housing was spraying fuel everywhere.

Not much really. I bought this as a winter car and tow vehicle for my Audis.

Ill need suspension eventually so I'll probably do a 2-3" lift at that time. But nothing major planned. The Audis are my babies.
