Just a little more... Started out with new spark plugs (ac delco). Then installed the new O2 sensors (gm genuine per the painless book) and then came the oil change. Absolutely had fuel in the oil pan! I played with the wiring some tidying things up, re-did the Start relay circuit i mentioned before. Now we have a 3rd fire up video
Soo still sounding like a dead miss/firing issue... Still only have 2-4 egr codes and thats it! Soo as far as troubleshooting goes - verified 14v while running, verified negative effect when un plugging the alternator or the maf. Swapped the map sensor from a running setup with no change. Verified spark to each spark plug from their coil. There is no vacuum leak from valve covers, intake housing or brake booster line. Each injector is getting power (unplugged each injector 1 by 1 while running with a negative effect). Soo now what!? I think im gonna Vice Grip Garage the cylinders with the mystery oil - thinking this could rejuvenate the piston rings after being fuel washed? Or should I not do that?? Also think im gonna scoop up one of those harbor freight hydro pressure testers - check cylinder comp's and also fuel pressure while its running.
