I'm doing a lift on my '98 XJ. I'm piecing things together because I have a friend with some parts already. I want to make sure I have all the parts I need before I go and do the lift since this is my daily driver. Here is what I have so far:

Adjustable track bar (4-8" of lift)
Drop pitman arm
4" Lift Coils
2" coil spacers
6" lift shocks
Extended lower control arms
2.5" add a leaf
2" blocks

In the mail are my 2" drop shackles for the rear.

I know I should be getting transfer case drop and maybe even a slip yoke Eliminator (really don't want to have to get one)

Should I beef up my steering stabilizer?

Should I get a new sway bar?

I'm going to be running 33x13.5x18s.

Any help you guys can offer would help alit! Thanks Timmy

I would say you will want to do a steering stabilizer. And with that much lift, a tcase drop won't be enough. I tried that on mine. Had to go with an SYE. You'll also need longer brake lines. I used stock YJ brake lines from Orielly's to save some money. You shouldn't need a new swaybar, maybe longer links and/or discconnects. I personally, took my front and rear sway bars off, but I don't drive mine on the street very often. And for the pitman arm, put your track bar on and check the angles of your TB to your draglink. they should be as close to parallel as possible. I put a 4'' DPA on mine and I need to take it off and put my original back on to fix my bumpsteer. You may also want to look at control arm drop brackets and adjustable upper arms to fix your pinion angle. I did the same size budget setup on mine but built a bastard pack in the back have. Hope this helps along the way. Good luck with build
