Battery Temperature Sensor Voltage Resistor
Battery temperature sensor located under the battery molded in the battery tray.
Unplug the sensor and install a 47k ohm resistor in its place.
The resistor raises the voltage to between 14.6-14.8v
Charging voltage before the resistor was 14.36v.
Charging voltage after the resistor is 14.55v.
Not a big increase, but more power is more power.
Resistors can be purchased here:

I just did bigger gauge cables and already have a 140A alternator in place, and the voltage is a hair over the 14 mark on my gauge with all accessories running (haven't measured exact), if time goes by and you don't notice any ill effects I will be doing this mod. Did you figure this out yourself or is there some guide that I have no idea about? Amazing build thread.

I read through the comments and found one from Joseph Metcalf
I also have done the upgraded charging/ground cables and a 160amp alternator.
I haven't done a voltage check with all accessories on, but will do so in the next day or so.
Will definitely keep you posted, keep checking in for updates.
Joseph also has done some mods with digital temperature controllers for fan controls and rear defroster for remote start. You should check out some of his other mods on his Facebook page.
I'm going to be "borrowing" some of his ideas in the near future.

Thermostat controlled rear defroster switch
Added a 12v digital thermostat switch wired to my Jeep's rear defroster.
When the temperature is 32 degrees or lower the switch activates the rear defroster when the Jeep is running, either manually started or via the remote start.
The stock switch still functions normally.
These switches can be set to "Heating" or "Cooling" mode. I currently have this switch in Heating mode, but when in cooling mode they can be used to control cooling devices such as radiator efans.
I bought this switch here:
The two wires you need to find are black and DkBlue/white stripe.
Pay no attention to the poor wiring job, this was just for testing purposes.
The temperature switch sits behind the stereo trim cover in between the HVAC controls and the stereo.
Hidden from view when the cover is installed.
Switch turns on when 80 degrees or higher and shuts down automatically when temperature drops below 80 degrees. This switch is adjustable I just have it set to 80 degrees for testing purposes. Switch works from -58 Fahrenheit to 230 Fahrenheit.

Triple Temperature Controlled Radiator eFans - install
Testing the thermal switches and relay wiring.
All 3 thermal switches wired with shared power source and grounds.
Relays all wired up - all shared terminals are connected together.
Glove box removed - looks like there plenty of room for the relays and wiring.
Dash hole cut for the 3 thermal switches.
Everything works - slightly messed up the plastic when it was cut, but oh well.
Glove box reinstalled - can't even tell they're there when the glove box is closed.
Here's a video of the switches running turning my 3 eFans on/off sequentially.

3D Headlight Guards
Found an old Halogen overhead shop light that was being thrown away and thought the light cages looked cool.
I scavenged the covers and decided to add them to the outside of my mesh headlight grilles.
Gives them a nice 3D look, now I just need to get them painted. Still not sure whether to paint them black or red.

Nice build, there is a lot of things that I am also going to be doing to my jeep also. I was looking at your duel battery setup with cowl snorkel setup, so nice, just what I want to do. Also liking you inverter setup, something that I have in mind also.
Keep up the good work, cant wait to see how it turns out.

Bad Transmission mount
Old mount removed - very crusty underneath the mount plate.<br/>Cleaned up the area with a wire brush.
Old mount vs New mount
The old mount was very rusty on the mounting flange. Chunks of rust fell off when I removed it and the flange was bowed/heaved out.
New mount installed - cleaned up the mounting plate and the cross-member and reinstalled.
No more clunking noise when going over bumps.

That is a nice looking/simple mount - any idea on how much and who sells them?
I want to upgrade the motor mounts in the future, but don't want to do stock and Brown Dog Motor Mounts are $105 for rubber.
