I got about an inch more drop out playing with mine in the garage. Should flex a little better than the stockers on the trail. Haven't seen the other build thread with them in it will have to go looking again. Thanks

Default Got this done Before I caught the plague

I have had speakers laying around for almost six months now and I got sick of not having my rears in so

much smaller than stock but better Rockford Fosgate Punch speakers which I got for free

I used the wall anchors so they don't fall out the first time I go over a curb (hate mounting things to fiberglass)

and done, though after I hooked them up one didn't work so I have to go over the stereo harness fun

Default Back to work

I've been lazy lately but now I am making some progress
pressing the old bushings out

taking out the center pin to clean off the surface rust

now I just need to get a few of those little slider pads that are between the leaves

Hey didn't notice if you wrote it or not..But I've got a 88. I have the c101 connector right above the brake booster on the fire wall...Its on the driver side almost by the hood hinge!
If you've got it, pull it apart, its 1 bolt I believe and cleaned it with brake or electrode cleaning and a rag! It was filled with this black gunky crap, almost like tar! My 88 would go straight to 2200-2300rpms right when it started and didn't like coming back down, it would randomly go to 2300rpm and stay there if I was in neutral or had the clutch down..warm or cold. Since its been cleaned it hasn't done it once.
Its been known to be the problem for the high idle in the renix's..well one of the problems

High idle will kill motor mounts to. So keep it in check! Mine were shot as well as the trans mount. Now I have Ironmans and won't ever have the issue again lol.

I looked over my jeep and I was lucky enough not to get the c101 on mine, its a 89 and what I have read is that some got it but not all. Now I am down to intermittent high idle at start up which is the TPS I got form the JY to fix the same problem
just have to buy a new one I guess
