So I'm new to the XJ world and is my first build want to first off say that everyone in the XJ family so far has been very helpful and nice really appreciate it. My build I'm starting with a 96 XJ that I bought off a good friend it was his trail rig just bout all my friends have XJs and love em and I was tired of being a passenger my 96 has new 4.0 with a 3" RC lift chromoly axels welded rear I bought it with a broken spider gear recently ordered a spartan locker and superior axle tube seals new brown dog motor mounts and a tune up kit just to know where I'm at service wise also gonna do a tranny filter change body is ruff on the old jeep been beat off several trees me and a buddy today went to the JY today got a whole new front clip new doors new rear hatch the floor is rough I plan on welding in some new home brew floor pans then adding a cage then under coating the floor I have big plans for this build and don't plan on messing around on this build so stay tuned plans as of now are bumpers a rack, frame strengtheners new long arm lift

Didn't do much on the jeep today before work was to cold and wasn't feeling a 100% did some adjusting on my back hatch got it closing and latching nicely started working on my brake lights couldn't even get the bulbs out so I said hell with that project for now but I did get my motor mounts in today and those things are sweet heavy duty and well built I suggest everyone get a set if these Brown dog mounts mine are completely shot so was a have to for me also is American made part doesn't get better than that
