Craig-b's 2000 XJ Sport 4x4
Hey guys, somewhat new to this forum, and just recently picked up a 2000 XJ Sport for a very good price, one of the better priced in this area.
This build will be very slow, since im still in highschool, but going to university learning automotive. So, some work will be done at school with not many pictures.
Here's a picture of the day i got her.

The plan is to first replace the rear u-joint, it's clunking.
Going to get the truck in perfect working condition before i get tires and wheels and bumpers and such.
Thanks man, i've always love XJs. Dream come true.

Went out and got her a little dirty, took the bike out for the first time in 2012.
Funny story, it was getting dark, so buddy and i were packing up fast and i forgot my wheel at the bottom, didnt realize it til i got home after dropping him off and such, raced back up the mountain glad to see it sitting there exactly where i left it.

Wow. Can't even explain how much I love my jeep. Been a while since iv posted ad update. Haven't done much. Took out my back seat, put a few tool boxes in the back. With a light and extension cord just in case. Dont remember if I posted here when my rad pooped out. Replaced that. And replaced the rear wiper. Haha. Haven't done much major as school is taking up all my time. Ad I'm very low on the cash money. About to do an oil change. I've put 3,000km on her. An I don't exactly know when the po last did an oil change. But the oil looks like it could use a change.

New wheels are on!
They were in need of being put on, i was running my BFG spare because i came home to 2 flats one night after dirtbiking, one tire was a slow leak i hadnt pumped up, the other, was bone flat.
Just waiting for Adjustable lift shackles that are on order to sort out the rear sag.
And then time to save for lift!

Rubbed quite a bit with 4 people in there. Nothing when riding solo.
Just waiting for funds to do a 3inch lift. Have Iron Rock Adjustable lift shackles on order to sort the rear sag and get rid of the majority of the rub.

New wheel set up.
Kumho Road Venture MT 31x10.5x15
D-window steelies 4" backspacing 8" wide
Still stock for the most part. Have my adjustable lifting shackles in the rear set to .5" to get rid of the sag
Coils are not in yet because all my tools are at work since i got a job at my local GM dealership. Nothing at home to work on my Jeep with.
