It just sits on top of the ridges around the edge. Mine is held on by some very good double sided tape. I heard the new ones may have been changed slighty, mine was one of the first and I think he improved the fit a tad.

Its been a while since I have updated this. I recently Upgraded tires, my old one were long overdue for replacement. This is my fisrt tire straying from BFGs so I hope it works out.
Went with the Goodyear MTR/Ks in the 33x12.5 variety.

I also upgraded my subwoofer. I had an old MTX from around 1992, thing buzzed and rattled so bad a while back I just disconnected the power to the amp. I went with a cheap kicker, so far its much cleaner sounding, I need to adjust my amp setting though because it is quieter. I also run it in an XJ pod.

Looks nice! We need to go try those out on Elvis. I'm getting gears / lockers next week. When my U-Joint went, it broke the ear off the yoke.
Figured might as well spend the tax return and get it all done at once.

For sure, I think I'll be available in a couple weeks.

Sweet XJ. I'm up in Flagstaff. I wish I had that switch panel and extended idle button.

Could be, I live in West Mesa, I go to tempe Market place quite a bit. I also run a lot at Tempe Town Lake so you could see me cruising back an forth.

Could you take a few pictures of the interior where the spot light comes through the A post. I have a brand new spot light and was thinking about putting it in but wasnt sure how cluttered it would be on the inside.
Thanks

dang I thought it looked nice with just 32's but those 33's are nastayyy! So I'm trying to figure what I can do, I have a 3" RC AAL lift with quite a bit of trimming and I'm trying to figure out if I should do 33's or 32's. I have 3.55 gears and I dont want it to be terribly sluggish. Any suggestions?
