so here is how my 3 day weekend started friday i got up and went to the junkyard not needing anything but just to see if they had any new inventory (im there a lot) and i found some good stuff all for $20 .. i got 2 tow hooks and 8 784 injectors

and then on the drive home going down the highway at 60mph everything doing fine temp was at 210 and then there was antifreeze and smoke everywhere pulled over thinking it was a hose just to find a 3'' hole in the radiator

so i got her home and went to the parts store to get a new radiator, water pump, all hoses, thermostat, thermostat housing, temp sensor, fan clutch ... i replaced everything just to be safe

i got everything back on and i let it sit over night to let the rtv set , today i filled her up to check for leaks and i was good, got her up to temp, turned her off let her cool down, burped her and topped her off, took her for a test drive to the car wash and on the way she only got up to 190 and she runs great now ... so now im going to clean the injectors with some seafoam and put them in next weekend

Over the last few days i got my 784 injectors ready to go in, i soaked them in seafoam for a day and then i tested them, put in new screens and o-rings and finally i got them put in with no leaks.. the jeep runs a lot better with no more rough idle and the throttle response is night and day..

this was #1 the outer body was cracked and all of them where very dirty

i haven't had a lot of time to work on the jeep lately but i did pick up a roof rack from a member on NAXJA, the wind shield was broke so i just took it off till i can make a new one but now i have a place for my spare tire ... i also bought a rustys intake with the 6x9 K&N filter, im going to use my old gas tank heat shield that i took off when i got my gas tank skid as a heat shield for the intake

a few days ago i went to a local jeep swap meet. i got to hang out with some good people and i picked up a few parts for me and a friend.i got a set of RE superflex uppers that i needed to fix my caster, a set of teraflex monster lowers just because there just so beefy, a skyjacker stabilizer just because it was cheap and came with a new AFE air filter that ill use as a backup (package deal) and 4'' front and rear coils/shocks for my buddy's TJ

so i went to put on my new arms and failed with the uppers just because i didnt have enough hands so i just put the new lowers on and the stabilizer then called it a day .... but now between the new JKS track bar, stabilizer and arms my front end feel so solid i love it

here is a bad pic of the new lowers

I can't find the link because I'm at work on my phone but I wouldn't do the paper clip as a fix just to test if that's your problem ...if it is your problem get a tap splice and I believe its the brown and yellow wires
