Fitment is not an issue, since you will be making the hole. This is the Third one I have done....my method, put the frame on the roof, trace around it, and cut inside the line to make the hole slightly small, then shave the hole until the sunroof fits snugg. Point being, you can always cut more, but make the hole too big, and you're screwed.
to seal it I have used many things, but it was always messy....so this time I experimented with something new. I used rope caulk:

It was eaiser to press to the sunroof frame prior to install, and then when you tighten the inner frame to the outer frame, it squeezes the rope caulk and makes a tight seal....easy to remove any excess....been a year, no leaks.
As far as the glass seal on the sunroof, I use white petroleum jelly to keep it lubricated. YOU MUST KEEP THIS A SHINY LUBRICATED SEAL....let this seal dryrot and you're done.
Hope this helps...I should have done a write-up.

That helps alot yes. Makes me feel better about attempting it for sure. What about the headliner and the trim around the opening inside? Is the sunroof a "kit" that comes with some trim for the inside?
