Cleaning up the XJ....Progress pics
Well I bought this XJ a few months ago and it was pretty beat up, so I have spent some time cleaning it up. Here are a few shots
First day I bought it
Now: Did a 2-tone with rustoleum spray can bedliner and also sprayed the the roof. Replaced the headliner and undercoated the front bumper and threw a new winch on.
Future plans are to rhino line the interior and my next purchase is going to either include building the axles or buying a rear bumper/sliders/and fab up some tube fenders.

I got the winch on ebay for 350-360, it's a promark winch. I didn't need anything crazy expensive and nice because I don't wheel too hard. Just some weekend trail riding.
I know it's a big lift, but I bought the cherokee for crazy cheap with a lot of stuff done to it already; I know how expensive it gets to build a rig bc my last 3 cars have emptied my pockets quick. When the time comes, I might look into an IRO 6.5" LA kit.

Well I wouldn't bother replacing your long arms with more long arms..you probably just need some leafs and coils..or maybe even simpler, get rid of and spacers and such if it has any.
Whats your winch rated too? Cause if its not strong enough, it doesn't matter how often you wheel, if you get stuck you may as well not have a winch at all.
You should take some pics of the suspension and such and give us some specs!!

I will try to get some pics of the suspension. I think the front does have a spacer, which I would like to get rid of. Still a newbie and trying to learn all the tech talk
It's all stock from what I know; I didn't relocate anything myself. I bought the jeep the way it is, it just replaced the sagging headliner with some new fabric.
