He has been doing some research. We are going to shoot for Sunday. It takes a special tool to time the engine so we are looking into making one. There's an access hole you have to stick a tool in to find TDC on the crank. I didn't move any of the pullies when I had the belts off. I think leaving it parked in gear I may have rotated the motor by leaning against it.

I've got a question for you.
Hows it drive? i mean, with 85 horses, it probably feels like a dog compared to the 4.0 in your red XJ.
Im surprised by the mileage on that thing, id thing with that little engine lugging around 3100 pounds of Jeep it wouldn't do so great. Also, did i read right when someone mentioned it had a 30 gallon tank? that's massive... Was that an old option, or one special for the Diesel?

I have been admiring these even though I have not seen one in person. My BIL is a certified diesel mech and avid wheeler. The first time he saw my Cherokee, he told me about them and asked if I had considered putting a diesel in mine. He bought my son's CJ7 and put one it it. It is a climber!
If you decide to sell, please let me know. I have the guy that can help me put her back on the road. I like the way you are keeping it original farm fresh. Love it!

After much thought, back-and-forth, I have decided to sell. I would love for this to stay on the boards so please spread the word. Sorry if I have disappointed anyone. I don't feel like I deserve it. I don't feel confident enough to tear it apart. My Renault knowledge is very little.
The reserve is very fair, well below what I feel it is worth. If anyone has any questions shoot me a PM, I'll be glad to answer any questions or concerns.

It's a shame you're not keeping it but I can't blame you. I'm gonna share the link on Central Indiana Off road Facebook page.
