Yes, I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out. I still have some interior cleaning that needs done upfront. Lucky for me it is not as bad as the back was.
I worked on it 8am-8pm. I stopped to eat, to run to the store, to update this thread, and I sat on the porch for about 20 minutes as a short rainstorm passed over. I'd say 10 solid hours of work. I rubbed an entire bag of steel wool down to shavings and could have used more. My hands are killing me.

Wow, it's THE DieselD! As you can see I have been rocking your quote in my signature for quite sometime. Funniest thing I've ever heard.
It will be today. I have an Ohio out-of-state title inspection this morning. It's currently titled in South Carolina. I believe they were rated at 35mph on the highway. I can tell you, it doesn't have a quick or powerful feel to it. It reminds me of driving an 18 wheeler. Lots of cool sounds but it's not going to snap your neck back.
I've only driven it a few miles home after purchase. That and from the garage to the driveway a couple times. Hopefully today if everything goes well I can get some tags and get it on the road.

They made very few that were sold in the US. There are not many left.
Here's an article I found. About halfway down they talk about the turbo 2.1's and wonder if there are any left out there.

That's what I am seeing also. However, I just ordered a water pump from Rockauto and it was only $38!
