Hi everyone my name is josh and I am converting my 98 jeep cherokee classic from 2wd to 4wd and I bought the dana 30 front axle from 97 grand cherokee and put it in all I need is a 4wd transmission and I'm not sure what year of transmission I can use because I have been told by many people that I have to use 97-2001 transmission from cherokee,grand cherokee, tj. But I have also been told that I have to get a 98-01 trans from a cherokee only does anyone know the answer or has swapped any transmission
