The Captain's Build
Alright so I bought my stock XJ about 6 months ago for 1900 bucks. The jeep was mint. Very little rust, no body damages, clean and running good.

Next came the lift. After alot of research I went with the Rough Country 3 in. add-a-leaf kit w/ the upgraded shocks.I do not have any pics of the lift going in, or still on stock tires.
So I drove it with stock tires for about a week and decided I needed to order tires asap. I went with Treadwright 31 in. M/T's.(couldn't be happier). I also painted the stock wheels, black.
I installed 2 in. wheel spacers and trimmed my fenders

Heres some pics of the spacers and trimmed fenders
and some metal cutting...
I also have front tow hooks waiting to be installed and quick discos.
Next week I'm ordering a surco rack and some hella 500's for up top.
Oh, and doors are coming off tomorrow

the jeep is looking better and better as the pics go on. my only complainant is that you painted those nice charcoal rims but it is your jeep not mine so it don't matter keep posting the pics as you get it done. and go do some wheeling
